about the next film in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe (MHCU), Chamunda, and its status. Amar also responded to the rumours that Alia is set to star as the newest star of the MHCU.

hamunda, which is the next MHCU film lined up for release after the Aneet Padda starrer
Shakti Shalini. The filmmaker stated, "
Ab kahani likh hi rahe hai hum log. Kahani jab develop
ho jayegi, jab sab ko pasand aayegi,
collaborate karenge [We are still writing the story. Once the story is properly developed and everyone agrees on it, then we begin to collaborate] and then we will make it. Who we will make it with, who will the star be, what will happen until we sign, until we don't go to the shoot... until then I don't have any confirmation."

Alia has long been rumoured to star in the feature since the announcement was made. Akshay Kumar is also said to return in the horror universe, reprising his role from Stree 2. The
Stree writer-director did not confirm Alia's casting in the film. However, Amar added, "I want to work with Alia for sure. I want to work with all these great actors. That's why I'm making films so fast so I can work with everyone."
