Google recently took the tech industry by storm with the launch of AirDrop support on Google Quick Share. Though the same is only limited to Pixel 10 series phones as of now, still, it is being said that
the same will be launched for other phones soon as well. Now, according to the latest announcements, the functionality is soon coming for all the phones powered by the Snapdragon processor. This will let Android and iOS devices enter into a system where files and stuff can be directly shared.
Google's AirDrop Support Feature On Quick Share
Google announced last week that all users with Google Pixel 10 series devices - Google Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold- will be able to share files with iPhones directly via AirDrop support on Quick Share. And the company also announced that the feature will soon be launched for Android devices as well. Now, in an X post from the official handle of Snapdragon, the chip maker said, 'Can't wait for people to use this once enabled on Snapdragon in the near future.' This could change the game to a considerable level, as until now, there was no way to directly use AirDrop in compatibility with Android's Quick Share.
