Farhan Akhtar has opened up about the fine line between patriotism and jingoism as he gears up for the release of 120 Bahadur. The actor–filmmaker stressed that the film is rooted in real events and soldiers,

These are real men whose actions speak for themselves. Patriotism is beautiful, but jingoism is very ugly.” “When soldiers act out of duty, you don’t need to beat the drum louder than it’s already beating. Their choices reflect their loyalty. He shared, “His son said he would always smile, even in the toughest situations. That told me everything about his temperament and leadership.” Farhan said that donning the uniform made him feel responsible. “If there’s anything this story teaches, it’s how people come together. No battle is won alone. Leadership is quiet, and courage is collective,” he said.The movie, also starring Raashi Khanna, is based on the Battle of Rezang La in 1962 during the India and China War. Helmed by Razneesh Ghai, it is set to release in theatres on November 21.
