Girl Priyanka Chopra Jonas is making her mark in Hollywood, one action film at a time. The Citadel star was recently seen in the pirate film The Bluff. Before that, she featured in Heads of State, also starring Idris Elba and John Cena. And now, she has another project in her kitty. The actress, who is also gearing up for her comeback in Indian cinema, will next star in Reset. Touted as a survival thriller, the film will also feature Orlando Bloom. It will be directed by Matt Smukler, known for Finders Keepers and Wildflower, among others.

Reportedly, PeeCee will play the role of a woman who wakes up alone in a remote area with no memory of how she ended up so far from civilisation. She is forced to rely on Bloom’s character, a charming stranger who may be hiding the truth.The director told the portal. "I was looking for a pairing where attraction and mistrust could effortlessly coexist. Priyanka and Orlando have this uncanny ability to make you believe both at once. Their chemistry is undeniable."

It has been written by Jordan Rawlins and is backed by multiple production banners, including Priyanka’s Purple Pebble Pictures and Bloom’s Amazing Owl. The makers have described the film as an intense mix of survival, romance and suspense, filled with unexpected twists.

Priyanka is gearing up for her grand comeback in Indian cinema. The actress will star in celebrated South filmmaker SS Rajamouli’s ambitious project, Varanasi. It also features Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran in key roles. The film, which will see her as Mandakini, is set to hit theatres on April 7, 2027.It is currently under production in Hyderabad. Priyanka is said to have already shot key sequences during her recent trips to India.Varanasi unfolds across timelines, from 512 AD to 2027. It shows how an ancient ritual sets off a chain reaction that influences events across generations. Rudra, played by Mahesh, will be seen travelling across countries to stop a massive asteroid disaster linked to a mysterious cosmic object.Recently, the RRR filmmaker revealed that the much-awaited film has a major Ramayana connection.Meanwhile, Bloom recently earned praise for his performance in The Cut. Last year, he also featured in Deep Cover. Apart from Reset, the actor will also be seen in Bucking Fastard, alongside Rooney Mara and Kate Mara.
