in the Best International Feature Film category, Rishabh Shetty’s Kantara: Chapter 1, animated film Mahavatar Narasimha, Tourist Family, Tanvi the Great, and Sister Midnight have met the eligibility criteria for the Academy Awards’ Best Picture consideration list. These films are yet to be shortlisted for the prestigious honour, but the milestone is being widely celebrated.
