Chhabra believed in Dhurandhar even before Aditya fully did. Yes, you read that right! In his note, the director shared that while he was cautious, the casting director pushed him to think bigger and helped shape the film in a meaningful way. He added that casting such a large film was challenging, but Mukesh and his team worked tirelessly to find the right actors for every role. They focused on authenticity rather than just filling parts. Dhar said their discussions were deep and honest, and every character was carefully chosen."Even for the smallest part, he went just as deep, just as far, making sure every person on screen felt real, lived-in, and true to the world," wrote the filmmaker.Beyond work, he described Mukesh as a close friend and strong support system who stood by the film with complete faith.
