The film, which was hailed for its gripping storytelling and intense atmospheric tension, garnered over Rs 50 crore against a modest budget of Rs 5 crore. The film will stream on Netflix from 31 December onwards. The mystery thriller will stream in five languages—Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi. Film buffs who missed the film on the big screen are eagerly waiting to catch it online.

The film revolves around a missing case Kuriachan (Saurabh Sachdeva), a dog breeder. From a former longtime friend to professional associates to, the police investigators who come in search of him - They want to kill him off or bring him before the law, for his villainous deeds. And apparently, there were also many cases that Kuriachan had with several gangs earlier. His wife has no answers for them. So is he still alive and if he is, where is he? This forms the rest of the story. Eko serves as the third and final instalment of Bahul Ramesh's Animal Trilogy, following Kishkindha Kaandam which released in 2024 and Kerala Crime Files 2 released in 2025.
