Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge is continuing its phenomenal box office run, inching closer to the coveted Rs 1500 crore mark worldwide. After 14 days in theatres, including paid previews, the film has collected an impressive Rs 1,466 crore globally, securing its position among the top five highest-grossing Indian films of all time. With this milestone, the film currently stands at the fourth spot, trailing behind Dangal, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, and Pushpa 2: The Rule. Can it go past these films? As per Sacnilk, Day 14 collection of Dhurandhar 2 stood at Rs 20.10 crore, taking its India total to Rs 920 crore i all languages. The numbers highlight the extraordinary momentum of Dhurandhar 2, which has managed to achieve these figures within just
two weeks of release. At present, Dangal remains the highest-grossing Indian film worldwide with approximately Rs 2,070 crore, largely driven by its historic run in China, where it alone collected over Rs 1,300 crore. Meanwhile, Baahubali 2 earned around Rs 1,788 crore globally, and Pushpa 2 stands close with approximately Rs 1,742 crore. With Dhurandhar 2 rapidly closing in, it will be interesting to see if it rewrites all box office records. However, there are 3 factors that will influence the final collection.
No big release to stop Dhurandhar 2 wave
In the domestic market, the film is equally dominant. With an India gross of Rs 1,101.47 crore by the end of its second week, it has already entered the elite s 1000 crore club. However, it still trails behind Pushpa 2’s India gross of approximately Rs 1,471 crore and Baahubali 2’s Rs 1,416 crore. If the current trend continues for another two to three weeks, the film has a realistic chance of overtaking both titles domestically. Akshay Kumar's Bhooth Bangla is the only big film expected to release in this duration. While the team has not officially announced that its April 10 release is not happening, rumours are rife that the horror-comedy will release on April 17. Big window and bigger profits in sight for Dhurandhar 2!No Gulf release for Dhurandhar 2
A significant drawback for Dhurandhar: The Revenge is the absence of a Gulf release. The Middle East market is a key contributor for big-ticket Indian films, especially action entertainers. Missing out on this territory could cost the film an estimated Rs 200–250 crore in potential overseas earnings, which might prove crucial in its race to overtake Baahubali 2 and Pushpa 2 globally. For the uninitiated, both Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar 2 have been banned in the Gulf region.Dangal's record to stay unbroken?
While the Top 2 spot might be for Dhurandhar 2 to grab, the numero uno position looks tough, when we talk about worldwide gross. However, comparisons with Dangal require context. The film’s current record-breaking total was significantly boosted by its China release, which came after its initial run. Without China, its worldwide gross was considerably lower. Now, if the Ranveer Singh film also secures a China release later, that might be a more fair comparison. However, in terms of sheer numbers, Dangal's record seems to be safe.Dhurandhar 2 day wise box office collection in India
