Taking to her official Instagram handle, Tulasi wrote, "In continuation of my shirdi darshan this december 31’ i’wish myself a happy retirement will continue my journey in peace with SAINADHA thanking all for helping me learn life SAIRAM."The post read, "Happy Retirement! Tulasi is an Indian actress who primarily works in Telugu, Kannada, and Tamil cinema. Later she appeared in lead actress and supporting actress roles. She has acted in over 300 films in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, and Bhojpuri languages. She won two Nandi Awards and one Filmfare Award.Tulasi started her career in films in the 1967 Telugu film Bharya. Her official career as a child artist began with K Balachander’s 1973 film Arangetram. In her later career, Tulasi became a familiar face in supporting roles, while also sharing the screen with giants of the industry, including Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth, Mohanlal, Chiranjeevi, and Vijay Sethupathi.
