While talking to us, Emraan Hashmi expressed, "Creatively its a case that a lot of us are aware about. Yes, our prime motive is entertainment, it is an interpersonal story, a very emotional film. And of course this is a landmark, this shook the nation back in 1985 in many ways. But at the end of the day, its about women's voices, its about the power of truth, what does justice actually mean and how does it affect the lives of ordinary people, especially women who doesn't have the privilege of being heard. So a lot of things to unpack here.
