PlayStation 5 is a beast, and no one can deny that. Those sleepless nights, button mashing, making strategies to kill final bosses, and my Dual Sense controller begging to get some juice for its battery are something that happens every now and then. However, most of the amazing games on PlayStation are either paid or you need a PS Plus subscription to access them for free (about that, we will talk in another article). So, being nicknamed rogue route hunter, I had to do justice to that title. And to accomplish that, I took a challenge - a challenge to play games on my PS5 that are free on the store for thirty days. No games from the PS Plus catalogue, no games from the trial modes, only ones that are purely free. And I found three gems in the journey
- felt like unlocking the holy trinity of Sharingan, Byakugan, and Rinnegan (Watch Naruto if you didn't get the reference). After installing them on my PS5 at 3:00 AM and I was unable to figure out how the clock on my phone was showing 10:00 AM, maybe there was a glitch in my phone. That being said, let's jump straight to the list of the three free games that you are definitely going to love on your PS5, and keep thanking me if you have not explored them yet.
Multiversus
If you have watched a lot of cartoons and always thought you wanted Batman to punch Shaggy in his face or Scooby Doo kicking Superman like a maniac, then welcome to Multiversus. This game brings some of the most amazing characters from rosters like DC, Looney Tunes, Scooby Doo, Cartoon Network, Game of Thrones, and whatnot. Some of those characters are Batman, Superman, Black Adam, The Joker, Bugs Bunny, Tom & Jerry, Shaggy, Rick, Morty, and more. The principles of the game are very simple; you just need to fight on a stage and try to knock your opponent out of the arena. And there is no health bar (Multiversus went here like Tekken Who?) The game has five categories of characters - Assassin, Bruiser, Tank, Mage, and Support. Each of these tiers has different special abilities. And the best part about the game is its four-player all vs all, which feels like chaos - never seen anything more chaotic and fun at the same time than this mode. Try this one with your friends or even in online mode, and you'll think of me as a sage and bookmark this article (kidding lads, just a joke).
UFL
Imagine a game that takes you straigh to football stadiums with most of the real world players, had decent graphics like EA Sports FC, and is better in gameplay than eFootball, along with being free? Sounds imaginary? No, because UFL has joined the conversation to change your point of view. If you are a football fan and love something realistic, then this game is going to stay on your top charts. Now, because its free, you will not get to see a lot of high-scale events happening in the game. But the gameplay of UFL could give EA Sports FC 26, and eFootball run for their money (EA Sports may soon bring Pay To Breathe Mode in EA Sports FC 26). You get to see your favorite stars like Kylian Mbappe, Erling Haaland, Cristiano Ronaldo, Lamine Yamal, Virgil Van Dijk, and more wreaking havoc on the field.
Call Of Duty Warzone
If you are someone who is looking for a free shooter game and is fed up with seeing titles that are disappointment wrapped in golden foil, then Call of Duty Warzone is for you. At no point did this game feel like a free title to me (Activision, you beauty). Every match in the game takes you straight into the battlefield where the only thing is to survive while not holding back on your bloodthirst. Here, you get to see drops, loot, and you can vanish from the map if you even lose your concentration for a single second. What are you waiting for? Now, you want a whole lecture on why COD Warzone should be their on your library. Install the game, grab your DualSense, and unleash your inner warrior and go guns blazing in that battlefield.
