The biggest music awards ceremony not only includes the best artists from around the world; it also sets the stage for some incredible live performances and viral moments as they compete for a career-changing honour. In India, music lovers will have to get up bright and early at 6:30 am on February 2 to catch the winners and losers.
Where to watch the Grammy Awards 2026
The 68th Grammy Awards are taking place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 1. Internationally, the ceremony will be airing on CBS from 8-11:30 pm ET and 5-8:30pm PT, and will also stream live on Paramount+. Indian viewers can start watching the show on JioHotstar from 6:30 am IST onwards on February 2. The main ceremony will also be streaming live on the official Grammys website.
Grammy Awards 2026 host, presenters and performers
It will be an emotional night for host Trevor Noah as he has revealed that he will not be returning as host after this. According to a press conference by the organisers on January 26, Grammy winners
Harry Styles and Doechii are the only confirmed presenters. So far, several younger artists are confirmed to perform during the ceremony. They include Sabrina Carpenter, Katseye, Olivia Dean, Leon Thomas, Addison Rae, Sombr, Lola Young, The Marías, and Alex Warren.
Grammy Awards 2026 nominees and new categories
Kendrick Lamar goes into the 68th edition as the most nominated artist with nine, including the big one for Album of the Year. Lady and producer-artist Jack Antonoff follow with seven nominations while Bad Bunny and Sabrina Carpenter, who will be performing, have six nominations each.
Starting with 2026, the ceremony has mixed it up a bit with some big changes. For the first time, a category for Best Album Cover is going to be introduced. The Best Country Album category will be split into Best Traditional Country Album and Best Contemporary Country Album, while Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist has increased the number of nominees from five to 10. Around 3,800 music insiders and artists from the Recording Academy will be voting for the winners.
