Imtiaz has delivered nothing but chartbuster music through his films. For Main Vaapas Aaunga, he made Vedang sing a romantic song. After Diljit Dosanjh, Raina has given his voice to the song Maskara. After impressing all with his singing, Vedang depicts a heartwarming love story in the new track, Voh Nahin. The song is backed by powerful visuals of love, longing, sacrifice and bravery.

Maskara song sung by Vedang Raina
Maskara, sung by Vedang, was the second song from the film after Diljit’s
Kya Kamaal Hai. In a video, Alia Bhatt was singing along to the song while getting ready for her Cannes appearance. She shared the video and wrote, “For my alpha @sharvari & my jigra @vedangraina and the ultimate rockstars @imtiazaliofficial & @arrahman” Vedang reacted, "LOVE YOUUUU,” while Sharvari wrote, “Alooooooo! You are the bestessstttttttt!!!!! lysssmmm!”Alia has worked with Vedang in Vasan Bala’s 2024 jailbreak drama,
Jigra. On the other hand, Sharvari is her co-star in the upcoming spy thriller,
Alpha. The female-led film is backed by Yash Raj Films and is directed by Shiv Rawail.

Main Vaapas Aaunga’s trailer will be launched on May 18. The teaser introduces Diljit as the voice of the story, which begins with Vedang and Sharvari in the pre-Partition period. Music lays the foundation of an emotional romance that faces socio-political obstacles. Whether this love story ends happily ever after or meets a tragic end, with Vedang declaring, “Main vaapas aaunga,” in the final frame, the teaser keeps it a secret.
Main Vaapas Aaunga explores concepts of love and longing. The film also stars Naseeruddin Shah. Produced by Applause Entertainment and Mohit Choudhary and Shibasish Sarkar of Window Seat Films, the film releases in theatres on June 12.
