waiting for more updates on the movie. The movie starring Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Shweta Tripathi, and others is one of the most anticipated releases of the year. Much to the excitement of fans, the film's shooting has been officially over. Shriya Pilgaonkar who plays the role of Sweety Gupta in the film and the series has treated fans to a couple of BTS pictures of the cast and crew posing together on the last day of filming to celebrate the end of the project. She also made a special promise to the fans of the franchise.

Taking to her official Instagram handle, Shriya shared a series of behind-the-scenes pictures and videos from the sets, celebrating a wrap. In the first picture, she was seen posing next to Ali Fazal, as they stood next to a car adorned with Lions Of Mirzapur number plate. Next, we see Shriya, co-stars Sheeba Chaddha and Ali Fazal clapping and celebrating the wrap with the film's entire team. Next, we see a pic of cake, Shriya's vanity van that had a paper of name tag of Sweety Gupta and a pic of her with Shweta Tripathi and other team mates.

Shriya celebrated the completion of Mirzapur: The Film shoot with a note and said that working with the cast and crew was an amazing experience. She expressed how special it felt to reunite with the team and step back into her role as Sweety Gupta. Makers announce Mirzapur: The Film wrap

Earlier, the makers of the film also announced the wrap in a video shared on Excel Entertainment's Instagram, which showed a clapperboard with the words "It's a wrap! #MirzapurTheFilm. " Shweta Tripathi also posted a group photo of the team and the clapperboard annd announced the wrap.

The movie is based on the popular crime-thriller OTT franchise and it has been written by Puneet Krishna and directed by Gurmmeet Singh.

The movie will be released in theaters in 2026 and then on streaming services. It will have the same cast as the first one, except for Vikrant Massey. Pankaj Tripathi plays Kaleen Bhaiya again, Ali Fazal plays Guddu again, Divyenndu plays Munna Bhaiya again, Abhishek Banerjee plays Compounder again, Rasika Dugal plays Beena Tripathi again, and Shweta Tripathi plays Golu Gupta again. Jitendra Kumar joins the cast, taking over for Vikrant Massey. He will be joined by Ravi Kishan, Mohit Malik, and Sonal Chauhan in important roles.
