crew members of his recently released movie. And dealing with their loss wasn't easy for him. In his latest interview, the Kantara: Chapter 1 star reacted to losing threw crew members associated with the film. He also clarified that the deaths didn't occur on set.

When Rishab was asked whether he lost Kantara: Chapter 1 crew members on set, the actor told The New Indian Express, "No, not on the sets. But yes, you heard right, and it was traumatic. We lost three wonderful people connected to the film."He further recalled, "One was a junior artist who suffered a heart attack at the place he was staying. My crew went to help him, but he died on the way to the hospital. The next incident happened when we were not shooting. A young boy had gone to visit a temple by the riverside. People had warned him not to venture out into the river. But he didn’t relent and drowned in the river. Rishab went on to admit that team Kantara: Chapter 1 team faced challenges every day. Recalling the many injuries on set, the actor shared that putting together entire film, including forest sequences, was tough. "We had a huge setup and almost 3,000 crew on the sets, but my team was very efficient. We had discussions before we went on the floors. My earlier films were made with a minimum budget of Rs 1.4 crore. But this is the first film in which I have explored a lot."Meanwhile, Kantara: Chapter 1 was theatrically released on October 2, 2025.
