Concert culture in India is getting bigger and better, with the country hosting international music sensations like the Backstreet Boys, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, and more. However, there is still a long way to go when it comes to infrastructure issues, feels singer Armaan Malik. Known for hits like Main Rahoon Ya Na Rahoon, Bol Do Na Zara, Kaun Tujhe, and Main Hoon Hero Tera, the musician recently spoke about why organisers need to take responsibility for building a solid foundation for concerts. He also recalled the unfortunatedemise of popular singer KK, who died of a sudden cardiac arrest after performing at an insufficiently air-conditioned auditorium in Kolkata.Armaan Malik Speaks Up For Better Concert Infrastructure"The safety and well-being
of fans at my concert is of prime importance for me," Armaan exclusively told Zoom. However, he added that it is not always possible in India to make sure the experience is 10/10. "In the last 50 to 60 years, many concerts have happened, but have they happened correctly? Have they been organised in the right manner? I don't think so. So apart from like barring a few big festivals that come with a lot of budgets, with a lot of help from the local authorities, the smaller shows that happen across our country are not organised in a safeand healthy manner," said the singer.
