Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain’s Shubhangi Atre Confirms Being Replaced By Shilpa Shinde: Ending This Replacement Game Now

Shubhangi Atre, who played the role of Angoori Bhabhi in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain has finally announced her exit from the show after a decade. She will be replaced by Shilpa Shinde, who played the character

for 9 months when the show was launched. Shunbhangi got emotional while bidding adieu to her character and confirmed that Shilpa will be replacing her.

For the unversed, Shubhangi Atre had replaced Shilpa Shinde in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain 10 years ago. Now, she shot her final episode last week. She avoided speaking about the reason behind her replacement. Shubhangi told Bombay Times, “I always promised Mrs Kohli that my journey in the show would start with aan, baan aur shaan and that is exactly how it would end too. I could not have asked for a better exit. There is no point delving into the reasons for the replacement. I see it as a blessing in disguise because as an artiste, I want to explore new characters. The idea is to step out of here and start looking for work again. She also played the role of Komal Narayan in Chidiya Ghar, which was initially portrayed by Shilpa Shinde. While speaking about the replacement, the actress said, “I just want to say that I am ending this replacement game now. I told my mum that Shilpa left the show in nine to ten months, so it felt like she handed me a newborn baby. I raised that baby for ten years and now I am returning it to her. I gave it values and sanskars, and I am passing it back with a full heart. I wish Shilpa all the very best and also the entire team for the 2.0 version of the show. She is a fantastic actor, and I am genuinely fond of her.” Shubhangi thanked the audience for showering love on her for her performance in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain. Talking about the show, it also features Rohitashv Gaur, Aasif Sheikh and Vidisha Srivastava.
