PLAVE’s Caligo Pt 2 Debuts At Number Two Spot On Billboard World Albums Chart

celebration time for PLAVE fans! A South Korean virtual boy band group formed by Vlast achieved a big thing today (April 28). The official handle of the band group on X announced that Caligo Pt 2 has debuted on Billboard’s World Albums Chart at a high rank of number 2. It has to be noted that the chart ranks the week’s most popular world music albums based on multimeric consumption. For the unversed, Caligo Pt 2 was released on April 13, 2026, at 6 pm KST digitally, and physically, the album was released the next day, April 14, 2026. It is PLAVE’s fourth mini album that includes the title track, Born Savage.

Caligo Pt 2 Is Number 2 At Billboard Charts

In the first week of its release, PLAVE’s Caligo Pt 2 entered Billboard Japan’s Top Album Sales chart at number 3. On the other hand, the mini-album ranked at number 8 and number 29 in Billboard Japan’s Hot Albums chart and Billboard Japan’s Download Albums, respectively. After the first week, Caligo Pt 2’s track Born Savage did wonders and landed on Billboard’s Global 200 chart at 172. Each track of the album managed to secure their spots in Billboard’s Global Excl. US chart. Born Savage on 62, Think I Am on 89, HMPH! (feat. SOLE) on 94, Blossom Parade on 103 and Lunar Hearts on 115.

After its physical release on April 14, Caligo Pt 2 was released physically on April 17. PLAVE’s member YEJUN shared a statement with the media in which he said that the album was made with the happiness of PLLI by keeping their fandom in mind.

According to him, every member has put a lot of thoughts into creating something that PLLI would be satisfied with. He requested his fans to give a lot of love to Caligo Pt 2. While speaking about the mini album’s specialisation, YEJUN said, “From the powerful rock-based title track to a song that brings back the 90s vibes, to an a cappella track – five songs carry five different colours."
