During the wee hours of Friday, Vicky shared an Instagram Story where he wrote, “@adityadharfilms you beauty! What a mammoth task it must be for you and your team to pull off this Film with such conviction, finesse and first rate world building... Hats off! Absolute PEAK PERFORMANCES! Technically Brilliant. Supremely engaging. Kudos to all the Dhurandhars involved.”

Uri x Dhurandhar connection
After
Dhurandhar’s release, netizens noticed a possible connection between the spy film and Uri – The Surgical Strike. In the latter, Vicky’s character, Vihaan, meets Indian Air Force pilot – Flight Lieutenant Seerat Kaur, whose army officer husband is martyred in an ambush. Now, in a viral clip, Kirti Kulhari, who plays Seerat in Uri – The Surgical Strike, reveals her husband’s name. The martyred officer is named Jaskirat Singh Rangi. He belonged to the Punjab regiment and lost his life during the Naushera Sector ambush.Ranveer Singh, who disguises himself as Hamza Ali Mazari to be India’s infiltrator in Pakistan’s underworld, is actually Jaskirat Singh Rangi. In Dhurandhar, he is used for Operation Dhurandhar because of his life imprisonment. The character’s backstory hasn’t been explored in the first part. Whether Jaskirat dies in Dhurandhar Part 2, it shall be revealed on March 19, 2026.Besides Ranveer Singh, Dhurandhar also stars Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi, among others. The film released on December 5 in theatres and has already crossed the Rs 200 crore mark at the box office.
