Mounted on a massive scale with top actors paid handsomely, the budget of the war drama shows the efforts and dedication of the team to make the film an unforgettable spectacle. Border 2’s pre-sales data indicate a good first-day trend at the box office. Possibly, it could become Sunny’s highest opener in the past couple of years. Made lavishly for a big screen experience, Border 2 has to perform extremely well to recover its cost.

Border 2’s budget is said to be approximately Rs 300 crore. Reportedly, Sunny is the highest-paid actor with Rs 50 crore as his remuneration. Varun has received around Rs 8 to 10 crore, and Diljit’s fees are reported to be around Rs 4 to 5 crore. Salaries for Ahan, Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Anya Singh, Medha Rana and Paramvir Cheema are not disclosed yet.
How much should Border 2 earn to become blockbuster?
Border 2, mounted on Rs 300 crore budget, will have to earn atleast Rs 600 to become a profitable venture. Anything above Rs 650 would make the film commercially viable and a box office blockbuster. If the current trend continues, this milestone isn’t difficult for Border 2.
