Abhishek and Kashmera Shah finally reunited with their mami, Sunita Ahuja. The couple had a decade-long feud with Govinda and his wife, Sunita. However, they recently met their aunt on the set of Laughter Chefs 3. The duo happily posed with Sunita for pictures at the shoot location. For the unversed, Govinda was upset with Krushna for making jokes about him on television. Sunita, too, maintained distance from the comedian's family. However, they have let bygones be bygones. In an interview, Krushna opened up about his reunion with his mami Sunita.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Krushna admitted that the episode featuring his aunt Sunita was one of the most memorable episode they shot for Laughter Chefs 3. The comedian admitted that he wasn't aware of his aunt coming for the shoot as the makers kept it a secret. Kashmera, too, didn't know about it. In fact, host Bharti Singh didn't know about Sunita's appearance until it was announced.

"It was a shock for everyone and such an emotional moment because after such a long time we were meeting mami." The comedian added that it was emotional moment especially for Kashmera as she hadn't met Sunita in 10 years. He further reflected on the time he spent with Govinda and Sunita while growing up.The comedian revealed that Sunita raised him like his own child, and he stayed at her place for 8 years. "We had a joint family. Kal humari itni baatein hui hai, jo ice break hui. Jo band kamre mein hona tha wo channel ne stage pe kar diya," he added.

Krushna's feud with Govinda and Sunita started when the former joked about his uncle on television. Later, the comedian accused Govinda of not visiting his children they were in hospital. Reacting to it,the Bollywood actor called his nephew 'liar'. Back in 2024, Sunita had mentioned that the reason she wasn't a part of Kapil Sharma's show was because of Krushna's presence.
