the most unique international cricket tournaments in the world. After all, it alternates between the ODI and T20I formats depending on the ICC tournament to be played after the Asia Cup. How and why? When it comes to the T20I format, only two players have ever scored a century, of which one was an Indian run machine. Virat Kohli
Virat Kohli leads the table when it comes to scoring the most centuries in the Asia Cup for India. In the ODI format, he ranks second behind Sanath Jayasuriya, having scored four centuries in 16 matches. His total score in these 16 matches was 742 runs at an average of 61.83 and a strike rate of 99.73.
However, Virat Kohli's most memorable century in the Asia Cup came in the T20I format in 2022. In a Super-4 match against Afghanistan, Kohli scored 121 runs off 61 balls, including 12 fours and six sixes. This century was special for Kohli because it was his 71st international century that came after an interval of 1020 days.

This century was Virat Kohli’s only T20I century, whereas in domestic cricket (IPL), he has eight.

Shikhar Dhawan

Shikhar Dhawan sits second on the table with two centuries in nine matches, having scored 534 runs at an average of 59.33. His highest score in the tournament was 127 runs.
Suresh Raina

Third on the list is Suresh Raina, who played 13 matches and scored 547 runs, including two centuries in the Asia Cup. Even though he has more runs, the number of matches determined his place on the list. Raina also registered his best score of 116 not out in the tournament.
Sachin Tendulkar

The Master Blaster also could not surpass two centuries, having played 23 matches, which is the highest number of matches played by a batter on this list. In 23 matches, he scored 947, coming close to the 1,000-run milestone.
Apart from the above-mentioned players, batters such as KL Rahul, Shubman Gill, Rahul Dravid, Sourav Ganguly, Navjot Sidhu, Gautam Gambhir, Virender Sehwag, MS Dhoni, and Rohit Sharma have scored one century each in the tourney.
