'Time to rewatch': Stranger Things fans can’t keep calm as final season approaches

The fifth and final season of Netflix’s Stranger Things will be a grand affair. Now, the OTT giant has piqued the interest of fans by confirming the release dates of Volume 1, Volume 2, and the finale. Stranger Things 5 Volume 1 is scheduled to release on November 27, followed by Volume 2 on December 26, and the Finale, titled The Rightside Up, will arrive on New Year's Day, January 1.

Interestingly, the final episode is also headed for a special theatrical premiere on December 31, in more than 350 theatres across the US and Canada.

This will be the first time that an original Netflix series will conclude both on a streaming platform and on the silver screen.

Needless to mention, Stranger Things fans were over the moon by the finale announcement and reacted to it on X.

“It’s official, 1 month until volume 1 of the final season of Stranger Things. I don’t know what to say or what to feel. I can't believe it’s really going to end,” commented a user excitedly.

Previously, Stranger Things’ producers, Matt and Ross Duffer, expressed their excitement at the final episode’s theatrical release. “It’s something we’ve dreamed about for years, and we’re so grateful to… everyone for making it happen,” they shared in a statement, as quoted by The Hollywood Reporter.
