According to the organisers, planning for the two-day music festival has focused on managing large-scale crowd movement and easing commuter pressure through public transport integration and mobility partnerships. For the first time since the festival’s India debut, attendees will be able to reach the venue directly via the Aqua Metro Line, with Science Centre Station providing access to a newly created second entry gate near the venue.
The organisers have also continued their #TakeTheTrain initiative, encouraging festivalgoers to use Mumbai’s suburban railway network and disembark at Mahalaxmi station. In addition, dedicated shuttle services operated by Cityflo will run to and from the venue, allowing attendees to pre-book seats via the Cityflo app.
There will be no parking available at the venue, and attendees are being advised to use public transport or app-based cab services. A designated Uber pick-up and drop-off zone has been set up at the NSCI Dome, according to the organisers.
Lollapalooza India 2026 marks the festival’s fourth edition in the country and will once again take place at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse. The event will feature multiple stages and a lineup spanning rock, pop, electronic, hip-hop and indie music. International acts, including Linkin Park and Playboi Carti, are slated to make their India debut at the festival, alongside other global and emerging artists.
Beyond music programming, the organisers said the festival will continue to implement sustainability, inclusivity and accessibility measures. These include on-ground waste segregation, gender-neutral washrooms, anti-harassment protocols, and persons with disabilities (PWD) viewing areas, along with wheelchair-accessible pathways and assistance desks.
The venue will also host large-scale art installations, designated shaded zones, and a food park featuring multiple food brands and vendors. Festival merchandise will be available on-site, including apparel and lifestyle products created specifically for the 2026 edition.
Lollapalooza India is produced by BookMyShow Live, the live entertainment division of BookMyShow. The festival is part of the global Lollapalooza brand, which was founded by musician Perry Farrell in 1991 and currently hosts editions across several international markets, including the United States, Europe, South America and India.
