Dhar’s Dhurandhar: The Revenge has now crossed the ₹930-crore mark in net collections at the domestic box office. The spy thriller, led by Ranveer Singh, witnessed a slight dip in collections on day 15. On Thursday, the film earned ₹17.8 crore in India, according to industry tracker Sacnilk.
Breaking down the numbers, ₹16.5 crore came from Hindi screenings, while Kannada shows contributed ₹10 lakh. Malayalam screenings brought in ₹5 lakh, Tamil shows stood at ₹30 lakh, and Telugu screenings added ₹85 lakh through ticket sales. Overseas, the film collected ₹5 crore on April 2.
So far, Dhurandhar: The Revenge has reached ₹1,122.17 crore in India gross and ₹937.32 crore in India net collections. The overseas gross currently stands at ₹370 crore, taking the worldwide total to an impressive ₹1492.17 crore.
A sequel to the 2025 blockbuster Dhurandhar, the original film centres on an undercover Indian intelligence officer, Jaskirat Singh Rangi, who operates under the alias Hamza Ali Mazari while infiltrating Karachi’s criminal networks and political circles in Pakistan to dismantle a terror syndicate targeting India.
The narrative of the franchise is loosely inspired by several real-life geopolitical incidents in South Asia, including the 1999 IC-814 hijacking, the 2001 Indian Parliament attack, the 2008 Mumbai attacks and developments linked to Pakistan’s Operation Lyari.
Picking up from where the first instalment ended, Dhurandhar: The Revenge dives deeper into Jaskirat Singh Rangi’s backstory – tracing his journey from prison to being recruited as an Indian agent. From there, the film follows his mission as he takes down multiple terror operatives and eventually makes his way back to his homeland.
Alongside Ranveer Singh, several key characters from the first film return in Dhurandhar: The Revenge, including Sanjay Dutt as SP Chaudhary Aslam, Arjun Rampal as Major Iqbal, R Madhavan as Ajay Sanyal, Sara Arjun as Yalina Jamali and Rakesh Bedi as Jameel Jamali.
Dhurandhar: The Revenge has been jointly bankrolled by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar and Lokesh Dhar under the banners of Jio Studios and B62 Studios.
