Upcoming November movie releases: Vrusshabha, Haq and 120 Bahadur

As 2025 winds down, November emerges as a busy month for Indian theatres, with a wide variety of popular Bollywood sequels, biopics, regional releases, and genre explorations.

From romance to war epics, the line-up spans genres, languages and ambitions, signalling a seasonal cinematic layer rich with competition and storytelling.

The release dates may vary because this current listing is solely dependent on the announcements made by the producers/production companies. Movies like 120 Bahadur, Haq, Tere Ishk Mein, Vrusshabha, and others are on the list.

Vrusshabha (November 6)

The Nanda Kishore-directorial, which was simultaneously filmed in Telugu and Malayalam and dubbed in Hindi and Kannada, is billed as a pan-Indian fantasy-action movie that centres on epic revenge, familial ties, and rebirth. Mohanlal plays a magnificent warrior monarch in a life-size role.

Haq (November 7)


The Suparn S Varma film is inspired by the historic court case Mohd. Ahmed Khan vs Shah Bano Begum, and features Emraan Hashmi and Yami Gautam Dhar in lead roles. The story explores themes of personal law, secular justice, and gender rights, and follows a woman's struggle for justice under Section 125 of the Criminal Procedure Code.

Jatadhara (November 7)


Sudheer Babu and Sonakshi Sinha play the lead roles in this supernatural-mythological thriller, directed by Venkat Kalyan and Abhishek Jaiswal. Packed with action, horror, and mythological fantasy themes, the picture is scheduled for release on November 7.

De De Pyaar 2 (November 14)

The current instalment continues the family drama and romantic comedy where the previous film left off, with Ayesha (Rakul) going further with Ashish (Ajay), only to encounter Rohit's father (Madhavan) and all the generational miscommunications. Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh, and R Madhavan feature in the Anshul Sharma-directed sequel, which opens in theatres on November 14.

The Running Man (November 14)

This Edgar Wright directorial adaptation is based on Stephen King's (writing as Richard Bachman) 1982 dystopian novel The Running Man. The narrative follows the main protagonist, Glen Powell, as he enters a lethal game show on television where contestants are pursued for 30 days with the goal of survival and atonement.

Mastiii 4 (November 21)
Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi, and Aftab Shivdasani reunite in the fourth edition of the beloved comedy franchise, directed by Milap Zaveri. Schedules to release on November 21, the plot twists the typical mischief by showcasing romances, battles of wits, and ‘reverse masti’ between couples.

120 Bahadur (November 21)

The movie depicts the famous battle of Rezang La (November 18, 1962), in which 120 valiant soldiers from Charlie Company of the 13 Kumaon Regiment resisted overwhelming odds during the Sino-Indian War. Farhan Akhtar takes on the role of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati PVC in the Razneesh Ghai-directed war movie.

Gustaakh Ishq (November 21)

Vijay Varma and Fatima Sana Shaikh feature in the love drama, directed by Vibhu Puri and features veteran Naseeruddin Shah in a pivotal part. Produced by Manish Malhotra under his banner, the movie is set amid the fading kothis of Punjab and the alleyways of Old Delhi.

Tere Ishq Mein (November 28)

Dhanush and Kriti Sanon play the main parts in this Aanand L. Rai-directed movie, which will be released in Tamil and Hindi on November 28. AR Rahman scored the music for this deeply emotional love story, which is set in the world of 'Raanjhanaa' and explores unrequited love, longing, and intense emotional struggle.
