The excitement just hit a new level with the reveal of Tara Sutaria’s first look as Rebecca.

Following the introduction of Kiara Advani as Nadia, Huma Qureshi as Elizabeth, and Nayanthara as Ganga, the poster presents Sutaria in a role that combines fragility with an underlying strength.

On Saturday, Yash shared Sutaria's poster on his X handle, writing, “Introducing Tara Sutaria as REBECCA in - A Toxic Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups.” The poster introduces her as a powerful and mysterious figure, signalling a departure from her previous roles toward a more intense, gritty persona.

Tara sports a fierce retro-style look with voluminous short, wavy hair. She is dressed in a stunning black off-shoulder metallic outfit paired with a pair of long gloves. In the poster, she is seen pointing a gun with an intense expression.

As soon as the poster dropped, fans flooded the comment section to share their excitement. What is Toxic about?

Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is all set to hit theatres on March 19, 2026, coinciding with the festive weekend of Eid, Ugadi, and Gudi Padwa.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas and co-written with Yash, the upcoming movie has been filmed simultaneously in English and Kannada, as per Variety. Further, the film will also be released in dubbed versions across Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and several other languages.

It is produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations.

After debuting in Student of the Year 2 (2019), Tara Sutaria worked in several action films, including Marjaavaan, Heropanti 2, and Ek Villain Returns, as well as the 2023 survival thriller Apurva. Toxic now marks a major milestone as her very first pan-India production.
