What is the story about?
The 83rd Golden Globe Awards is all set to celebrate the best in film, television, and, for the first time, podcasts. The star-studded event will take place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles on January 11, 2026, with comedian and actress Nikki Glaser returning as host for the second consecutive year.
The ceremony, which will feature presenters including George Clooney, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Julia Roberts, Miley Cyrus, Kevin Hart, and many more, will be broadcast live in the United States on CBS from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm ET (5:00 pm to 8:00 pm PT), and streamed on Paramount+.
For audiences in India, the Golden Globes 2026 will be available live on Jio Hotstar in the early hours of Monday, January 12, starting at 6:30 am.
This year, the Globes will also introduce a Best Podcast category, recognising the growing influence of audio storytelling. The nominations, revealed on December 8, 2025, by Marlon Wayans and Skye P. Marshall, span films, television, and podcasts.
