Dhurandhar 2 nears ₹1,000 crore in India; global haul crosses ₹1,560 crore

The box office run of Dhurandhar 2 continued to gather pace in its third weekend, with the film inching closer to the ₹1,000-crore net mark in India while pushing its worldwide earnings past ₹1,560 crore.

The Ranveer Singh-starrer earned ₹25.65 crore net domestically on its 17th day (Saturday), taking its India total to around ₹985 crore net (₹1,179 crore gross), according to reported data.

The film has shown renewed momentum over the weekend, registering about a 20% jump in collections on both Friday and Saturday, signalling strong traction as it approaches a historic milestone for Hindi cinema.

Globally, the film’s gross collections have reached approximately ₹1,565 crore, driven by steady domestic performance and a resurgence in overseas markets. Internationally, the film has grossed over $41.5 million, with a sharp 100% jump in daily collections recently.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, the spy thriller had crossed ₹1,000 crore worldwide within its first week and ₹1,500 crore by the start of its third week, underlining its sustained theatrical pull.

The film has also emerged as a major performer in overseas territories, setting records in markets such as North America, where it has surpassed the long-standing benchmark set by

Baahubali 2.

With its current trajectory, Dhurandhar 2 is expected to surpass the lifetime collections of several top Indian films globally, though it may fall short of the all-time record held by Dangal.

The film, which released on March 19, features an ensemble cast including R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal and Sanjay Dutt, and continues to screen widely across theatres.
