Netflix to stream BTS comeback concert, documentary ‘BTS: The Return’

BTS will return with a global livestream performance and a new documentary on Netflix, the platform announced in partnership with HYBE. Titled BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG, the event will be broadcast live from Gwanghwamun in Seoul on March 21 at 7 am ET (5:30 pm IST). The performance will celebrate the release of the group’s upcoming studio album 'Arirang', which is set to be released on March 20.

The livestream will be followed by a feature-length documentary, BTS: The Return, directed by Bao Nguyen. The film will premiere on Netflix on March 27 and will explore the making of 'Arirang', BTS’s first album since 2022’s 'Proof'.

The documentary will feature RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, V, Jimin and Jung Kook reuniting in Los Angeles to create new music. The film will examine how the group approaches "how to begin again, how to honour the past without being bound by it, and how to move forward together."

Following the release, BTS will embark on a world tour beginning in April. The tour will start in Goyang, South Korea, on April 9 and will include stops in cities such as Tokyo, Mexico City, Las Vegas, Busan, London, Paris, Chicago, Toronto, Sydney, Bangkok, Hong Kong and Manila. The tour is scheduled to run through March 2027.
