According to trade tracker Sacnilk, the film earned an estimated ₹6.45 crore net in India on Day 6 across 4,668 shows. With this, its total India net collection has reached ₹68.60 crore, while the gross domestic collection stands at ₹79.62 crore after six days in theatres.
The film’s impressive opening weekend significantly boosted its box office performance. It opened with a net collection of ₹15.85 crore on its first Thursday, followed by ₹11.05 crore on Friday. Collections rose further over the weekend, with the film earning ₹13.70 crore on Saturday and ₹13.85 crore on Sunday.
Like most films, Drishyam 3witnessed a drop in collections during the weekdays, earning ₹7.70 crore on Monday and ₹6.45 crore on Tuesday.
Among all language versions, the Malayalam version remained the biggest contributor on Day 6, collecting ₹5.50 crore net with an occupancy rate of 43% across 2,641 shows. The Telugu dubbed version contributed ₹0.60 crore, while the Tamil and Kannada versions added smaller amounts to the total collection. With this milestone, the film has surpassed the lifetime global earnings of Aadujeevitham, directed by Blessy and starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, which had collected ₹157.6 crore worldwide during its theatrical run. The latest directorial venture by Jeethu Joseph has now become the seventh highest-grossing Malayalam film globally.
Drishyam 3 is now inching closer to another major milestone as it targets entry into the ₹200-crore club. If it achieves the feat, it will become the third film starring Mohanlal to cross the mark after Thudarum and L2: Empuraan.
