Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor’s Peddi is making all the right noises. Following an impressive opening day collection of ₹51 crore, the numbers slowed down on Friday.
However, despite a dip, Peddihas reportedly surpassed the ₹150 crore worldwide gross mark after day 2 collections.
As per Sacnilk reports, theRam Charan-starrer film collected ₹26.90 crore on day 2, marking a solid 43.3% drop from the opening day’s collection. The day's collection came from 10,113 shows, pushing the net India collection to ₹96.40 crore. After day 2 earnings, the gross Indian collection now stands at ₹114.49 crore.
Overseas, the film collected ₹8 crore on day 2, taking its overseas gross collection to ₹36 crore and the worldwide gross collection to ₹150.49 crore.
Telugu version continues to be major contributor
The Telugu market remained the film’s major contributor on day 2. As per Sacnilk’s state-wise figures, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana together generated ₹25 crore gross on the day. followed by Karnataka with ₹3.23 crore gross. On the other hand, Tamil Nadu managed to add another ₹70 lakhs to the collection while the rest of India brought in ₹3 crore.
The Telugu version also witnessed the highest occupancy rate compared to other versions. On day 2,Peddiwitnessed 48.81% Telugu occupancy, with morning shows standing at 29.85% and afternoon shows at 48.15%. The evening shows reported 57.08% occupancy, while the night shows climbed to 60.15%.
Among other languages, the Tamil version takes second place with a 19.80% occupancy rate on day 2, followed by the Kannada version with 17.04% occupancy.

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, this sports action drama takes audiences back to the 1980s rural Andhra Pradesh. The film follows a spirited villager who unites his community through sports to protect their pride against a powerful rival.
