Following a long time of speculation and fan hype, '3 Idiots' is set to get an official sequel. The original cast and the extended cast are expected to light up the dearly loved reboot with fresh energy.
As the work on the sequel to 3 Idiots proceeds, the next chapter of the story, once again directed by Rajkumar Hirani and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, is tentatively titled 4 Idiots, reported Pinkvilla.
The plot is being thoughtfully developed to both pay tribute to the 2009 hit's history and present
fresh aspects that support the inclusion of an extra main character.
The fourth name has not yet been decided, but original cast members Aamir Khan, R. Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, and Kareena Kapoor Khan are anticipated to reprise their iconic roles as the original trio of pals, ensuring a nostalgic on-screen reunion.

“The makers are actively searching for an extra idiot, could be a superstar name,” the source added.
The insider went on to say that 4 Idiots is now being written, adding, “The team is making sure it gets bigger and better and continues from where it was left in the first part.”
