The singer was suffering from bilateral pneumonia, acute chronic liver failure (ACLF), multi-organ dysfunction syndrome, and other complications, PTI reported. According to AIIMS, Sagar was admitted on Friday but did not show signs of improvement.
"Humane Sagar (36) did not respond to treatment despite all aggressive and advanced care provided by an expert team of specialist doctors and expired at 9:08 pm on November 17," read a part of the medical bulletin released by the hospital.
Sagar was one of the most recognisable voices in Odisha's music industry. The news of his demise has left fans and the music fraternity in shock.

Sagar rose to fame in 2012 when he won the reality show "Voice of Odisha." He entered the film industry in 2015 with his playback debut in the movie "Ishq Tu Hi Tu," singing the title song composed by Abhijit Majumdar.
In his music career, he has recorded more than 150 songs for around 50 films and also sung nearly 200 album tracks. Besides his singing career, Sagar briefly tried his hand at politics after joining the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) in 2019. However, his political career did not make as much impact as his music.
