What is the story about?
Critically acclaimed web series Delhi Crime is back with season 3. The crime drama is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on November 13. All episodes are expected to drop at once, following the same format as previous seasons.
The first season debuted in March 2019 and went on to win Best Drama Series at the International Emmy Awards in November 2020, making it the first Indian program to achieve the milestone. The second season was released in August 2022. After three long years, Shefali Shah's character, DIG Vartika Chaturvedi, returns with another startling and exciting investigation.
Netflix India released the official announcement on X (formerly Twitter), stating: “Beyond reason, beyond borders. Ek aisa case jo har hadd paar Karega. Watch Delhi Crime Season 3, out 13 November, only on Netflix.”
‘Delhi Crime’ Season 3 Storyline
The story takes a darker, more complicated turn in Season 3. It begins with the discovery of an abandoned baby, which leads the investigation team into an extensive web of human trafficking that spans beyond Delhi.
The primary character, DCP Vartika Chaturvedi (played by Shefali Shah), is once again in charge of the police unit that has to deal with the crime as well as the systemic factors that led to it, such as fear, profit, silence, and complicity. This season's primary antagonist is the mysterious ‘Badi Didi’ (played by Huma Qureshi), the mastermind behind the trafficking ring.

A group of writers, including Michael Hogan, Anu Singh Choudhary, and Mayank Tewari, wrote the season, directed by Ritchie Mehta.
