The much-awaited teaser for Border 2, the sequel to the 1997 war classic Border, was released on Vijay Diwas today — generating a wave of patriotic excitement among the audience.
The teaser features striking glimpses of battle scenes. It begins with compelling images of military situations and stirring conversation, all set against the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pak war. A memorable moment involves Sunny Deol’s character delivering a powerful war cry, capturing the film’s central theme of courage and sacrifice.
Intense action scenes highlight the characters of Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty as distinguished officers in the Indian military.

The film brings together Bollywood luminaries and rising stars. Varun Dhawan plays a Major, while Sunny Deol continues his tradition as a dominating military figure.
Ahan Shetty assumes the role of a Navy captain, while Diljit Dosanjh plays an Air Force officer. The cast is intended to reflect various aspects of India's armed services.

Directed by Anurag Singh,Border 2 will be released in theatres on January 23, 2026, during the Republic Day weekend. The movie aims to combine intense action with poignant storytelling, in line with the tradition of the previous film, which was a massive success in 1997.
The film's dramatic and patriotic plot was first revealed earlier withthe release of an eye-catching poster that included the four main characters. Cast members and production banners actively promoted the teaser announcement and poster release, which increased interest.
The Mumbai premiere of the teaser was Sunny Deol's first public appearance since his father, veteran actor Dharmendra, died late November. While Dosanjh was not there, Deol attended the launch with co-stars Varun Dhawan and Ahan Shetty.
