120 Bahadur trailer out: Farhan Akhtar’s war drama to hit theatres on November 21

The wait is finally over! The trailer of 120 Bahadur, starring Farhan Akhtar as Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, is out now. The much-anticipated war drama, 120 Bahadur, is scheduled to hit theatres on November 21. Directed by Razneesh Ghai, the upcoming Hindi-language war film depicts the battle of Rezang La during the India-China war of 1962.

Taking to X, KGF star Yash unveiled the trailer of the war drama on Thursday, November 6. “Honouring our brave, a legendary true story from our nation's history. 120 Bahadur - Trailer out now. The trailer opens with a powerful voiceover by Amitabh Bachchan, setting the tone for a gripping narrative that showcases the bravery and sacrifice of the Indian soldiers who fought for their country. With its grand-scale battle direction, icy terrain, and immersive cinematography, 120 Bahadurpromises to be an unforgettable cinematic experience. The two-minute-48-second-long video clip also features Raashii Khanna as Singh’s wife.

The announcement for trailer launch was initially shared by trade analyst Taran Adarsh on X (formerly Twitter), stating: “Yash joins Farhan Akhtar to unveil the much-awaited trailer of #120Bahadur today at 2.07 pm.”

What makes the trailer launch particularly noteworthy is actor Yash’s involvement. Although he is popular across India, especially through the 'KGF' franchise, this is the first time he has fronted the trailer release of a movie that is not his own. His involvement highlights a larger message of cinematic solidarity and patriotism.

The Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai-directed film commemorates one of the most valiant moments in Indian military history: The Battle of Rezang La in 1962, where only 120 members of Charlie Company, 13 Kumaon Regiment, resisted thousands of advancing Chinese soldiers.

Farhan Akhtar undertakes the difficult role ofMajor Shaitan Singh Bhati, PVC, who commanded his soldiers with unwavering determination and the memorable motto, “Hum Peechhe Nahin Hatenge (We will not back down).”

120 Bahadur offers to be an emotional rollercoaster that honours bravery in its simplest form, supported by compelling storytelling and striking graphics.

The film is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani in collaboration with Amit Chandrra of Trigger Happy Studios, under their Excel Entertainment company.
