Celebrating 10 Years of a Cinematic Phenomenon
Directed by S.S. Rajamouli, the Baahubali films redefined Indian cinema with their massive scale, emotional storytelling, and stunning visual effects. With Baahubali: The Epic, Rajamouli and his team have created a new version that merges both parts into one seamless experience.
The re-edited film has already cleared censorship formalities and received a U/A certificate. Reports suggest that the combined version runs for around 3 hours and 44 minutes, offering fans an uninterrupted cinematic experience.
What to Expect in Theatres
- A single continuous film combining Baahubali 1 and 2
- Remastered 4K visuals and improved sound design
- Possible extended or previously unseen scenes
- A global theatrical release on October 31, 2025
Box Office Buzz: Massive Advance Bookings
After a strong response in North America, advance bookings for Baahubali: The Epic have opened to an exceptional start in India. According to Sacnilk, tickets in Hyderabad on October 25 sold out within minutes, with over 5,000 tickets per hour sold on BookMyShow.
The re-edited single-film version has already grossed nearly ₹2 crore in India and around ₹4 crore worldwide on opening day. Pre-sales have crossed $200,000 in North America, setting a new box office record for a re-release, Sacnilk reports.
Why Fans Are Excited
Baahubali: The Epic is more than a re-release — it’s a celebration of an Indian film that became a worldwide sensation. When the original parts hit theatres in 2015 and 2017, they shattered box-office records and introduced Indian storytelling to international audiences.
Now, a decade later, the re-edited version gives long-time fans a chance to relive the saga in theatres, while a new generation can experience the story in a fresh, upgraded format.
