What is the story about?
Shahid Kapoor is gearing up for the release of his next high-octane action-thriller O'ROMEO. Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the highly anticipated film is scheduled for theatrical release on February 13, coinciding with the Valentine's Day weekend.
This marks the fourth collaboration between Shahid Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj, following Kaminey, Haider and Rangoon. The cast includes Triptii Dimri, Randeep Hooda, Nana Patekar, Avinash Tiwary, and a special appearance by Disha Patani.
Shared by Bhardwaj on Instagram, the first look poster features an intense, bloody avatar of Kapoor screaming, with tattoos and bloodstains. In the newly released poster, the actor is seen wearing a black outfit and an open jacket, accessorised with a belt, rings, bracelets, and a chain necklace.
A "peek into the world" (teaser) is scheduled to be released tomorrow, January 10.

As soon as the poster was unveiled, several users flocked to the comment section to express their views. A user wrote, “This looks fabulous,” while another said, “Wow absolutely mind-blowing poster can't Wait.”
According to a report in Pinkvilla, the actor will appear in a never-seen-before avatar for the film, sporting a full body tattoo. He was recently seen in the action-thriller film Deva, directed by Rosshan Andrrews.
Apart from O'ROMEO, the actor will be next seen in the much-anticipated sequel, Cocktail 2, where he stars alongside Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna, with reports pointing towards a September 2026 release.
