The story of Vvan centres on a rational urban man who returns to his roots only to find himself at odds with the local myths.
By entering a forbidden forest in an act of defiance, he inadvertently awakens a divine deity, forcing him to confront supernatural powers that defy his logical worldview.
Earlier, the makers shared a BTS picture from the sets of Vvan, offering a sneak peek into the cute chemistry between Sidharth and Tamannaah.
In the picture, she was seen blushing while sitting on a scooter, as Sidharth looks at her affectionately.
During the Prime Video 2026 Release Slate event in Mumbai recently, Tamannaah described the collaboration as a ‘long dream’ come true.
Sharing her excitement about working with the actor, she said, "Sid was a long, long dream, and I'm very happy that I've had the chance to collaborate with him. I think he's a really fine actor."
Backed by Balaji Motion Pictures in association with The Viral Fever (TVF), the film is directed by Deepak Mishra and Arunabh Kumar, and produced by Ekta Kapoor. Initially, the film was slated to release on May 15.
