Mohanlal starrer Drishyam 3 has maintained its consistent run at the domestic box office this week, witnessing a slight decrease in its earnings on day 8, (May 28) compared to Day 7, despite it being a public holiday on account of
Bakrid.
Despite the minor dip, the Malayalam crime thriller is steadily inching close to the ₹100 crore mark in India and the ₹200 crore milestone worldwide.
The film completed its first week with a strong performance at the box office. Its day-wise India net collections are as follows:
According to Sacnilk, Drishyam 3 collected ₹6.50 crore net in India on its eighth day at the box office, which is a 2.3% decline from the Rs 6.65 crore net collected on Wednesday, May 27.
The film earned ₹6.50 crore net across 3,453 shows on Day 8 with a total occupancy of 40.8%, which took its total India net collection to ₹81.80 crore.
The India gross collection has now reached ₹94.91 crore. Overseas, the film added another Rs 5.50 crore on Thursday. With this, the overseas gross total now stands at Rs 103 crore. As of now, the worldwide total of the film is Rs 197.91 crore.
Among the four released versions, Malayalam continued to dominate with Rs 5.70 crore earning on Day 8 from 2,136 shows and 53% occupancy.

The Telugu version contributed ₹40 lakh from 850 shows with 17% occupancy, while Tamil and Kannada earned ₹20 lakh each from 312 and 155 shows, respectively. While the Tamil version had an occupancy of 29%, the Kannada version had 28% occupancy.
Directed by Jeethu Joseph, Drishyam 3 is the third instalment in the blockbuster Drishyam franchise and was released in theatres nearly five years after Drishyam 2.
Mohanlal stars alongside Meena, Ansiba Hassan, Esther Anil, Kalabhavan Shajon, Siddique, Murali Gopy and Asha Sarath.
The story follows Georgekutty as he struggles with the consequences of the events that changed the life of his family.
