According to industry tracker Sacnilk, War 2minted ₹31.3 crore (rough data) on day 4 in all languages. This brings its total business in India to ₹173.9 crore net. The film witnessed a decline of 5.86% in earnings on day 4 as it collected ₹33.25 crore on its previous day (Saturday).
War 2 had an overall 33.09% Hindi occupancy on Sunday, August 17. War 2 earned an estimated ₹52 crore net (all languages combined) on its opening day, August 14, followed by ₹57.35 crore on day 2.
According to Sacnilk, the film saw a dip of 42.02% on its third day at the box office and minted ₹ 33.25 crore.
Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh rated the spy action thriller 1.5 stars and called it ‘disappointing.’
