Salman Khan Films in Ladakh After Galwan Clash

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is currently in the spotlight for his upcoming project, Battle of Galwan. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film is based on the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between Indian and

Chinese soldiers. The action drama has ignited significant online buzz and excitement among fans ahead of its release.

With its engaging storyline and strong cast, the upcoming film is shaping up to be one of the highly anticipated releases of the year. Adding to the buzz, Salman posted the first picture from the sets of the film, treating fans with a glimpse of his character. He portrays the role of Colonel Bikumalla Santosh Babu in this film. The actor is currently shooting for the film in Ladakh.

In the picture, the actor dressed in full military regalia is seen behind the clapboard with blood streaming from his head. The photo shows Khan in full military uniform with a thick, rugged moustache and an intense expression, embodying a sense of raw patriotism. Sharing the picture on X, he wrote, “#BattleOfGalwan.”

The viral photo has generated significant buzz online, with fans praising his transformative, army-inspired look. A user wrote, “All the Best Bhaijaan may this film become a

huge blockbuster and make new records and Lots of love from Kashmir ". Another added, “This is how cinema becomes a movement, not just a movie. #BattleOfGalwan will set the tone for patriotic blockbusters ahead.”

According to a recent report in The Times of India, Chitrangda Singh travelled to Leh, Ladakh, to join the shooting of the next part of the film.

Earlier in July, Salman shared a motion poster of the film with a caption, ‘#GalwanValley.’ The poster with no dialogue and just the

swelling soundscape features the actor in a bloodied, battle-worn avatar, clad in uniform.

The war drama features Salman Khan and Chitrangda Singh in pivotal roles. The final release date of the film is likely to be locked by December 2025, as per a TOI report.

Salman was previously seen in the film Sikandar, directed by A.R. Murugadoss. He is currently balancing shooting for his upcoming film, Battle of Galwan, with his hosting duties for Bigg Boss 19.
