Temple College has officially opened its new Workforce and Visual Arts Building, a 70,000-square-foot facility designed to prepare students for high-demand careers and expand opportunities in the humanities. Funded by a $125 million bond approved by Temple voters, the building includes advanced training bays for construction, safety technology, robotics, logistics, and artificial intelligence. A Meta-funded AI lab and robotics manufacturing center are key features, aimed at enhancing students' understanding of AI technology. The facility also houses the Texas Integrated Manufacturing and Engineering Center, offering hands-on experience with semiconductor labs and robotic systems.
