RBL Bank Shares Soar; Nifty Nears 25,300

The Nifty looks to breach the 200-point range-bound territory, as the index has surged by over 100 points, taking teh 50-stock index past the 25,250 mark. The Sensex index is up over 350 points, rising to the 82,400 mark.

The Nifty Bank is trading slightly behind the two marquee indices; however, the baking index continues to trade with an uptick of over 150 points.

Persistent shares have surged after the company announced its results in the previous session.

Thyrocare shares have surged after the company announced bumper results and a dividend.

In addition to that, some of the biggest gainers among the Nifty 500 stocks are Persistent, ICICI Lombard, Newgen, Bank of Maharashtra, and Tata Communications are among the major gainers.

Results also come from three HDFC Group companies, HDB Financial, HDFC AMC and HDFC Life Insurance. IRFC, KEI Industries, Oberoi Realty, L&T Finance, MRPL, Delta Corp, and Angel One are some of the other broader market names reporting results today.
