Shares of Eternal Ltd., parent company of the food delivery and quick commerce aggregator Zomato and Blinkit, are trading with gains of nearly 6% on Wednesday, January 21, ahead of its December quarter results.
A CNBC-TV18 poll expects the company's revenue to increase by 14% from the September quarter to ₹15,500 crore, while its Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) for the quarter is likely to grow by 26% quarter-on-quarter to ₹300 crore.
EBITDA margin may remain flat at 1.9% from 1.8% in the previous quarter, while net profit may rise to ₹102 crore from ₹65 crore in September.
Numbers will not be comparable from the previous year due to change in the inventory model of Blinkit.
For the food delivery business, the Net Order Value is seen growing between 12% to 15% from last year, while the Gross order value (GOV) for Blinkit is likely to increase between 120% to 130% from the year-ago period.
