A CNBC-TV18 poll is projecting the company's revenue to grow by 5.5% from last year to ₹9,016 crore.
Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) for the quarter are seen 7% higher from last year to ₹1,750 crore, while margins may expand by 40 basis points to 19.5%.
Net profit for the period may grow by 8% year-on-year to ₹1,219 crore, according to the poll.
During the quarter, demand for exterior paints saw some slowdown due to unseasonal rains and no significant improvement is anticipated in pricing and product mix either during the quarter.
However, gross margins for the quarter may improve by 150 to 200 basis points, as per the poll.
During the September quarter, Asian Paints had reported decorative business volume growth of 10.9% year-on-year, which was well above the CNBC-TV18 poll, which had pegged the figure to be between 4% to 5%. The figure was the highest in the last seven quarters.
Shares of Asian Paints have given up all the gains from the opening highs, currently trading little changed at ₹2,705.8. The stock trades at 53 times its estimated earnings for financial year 2027, and has recovered 29% from its 52-week low levels.
