Nifty Reaches 25000; Jupiter Wagons Rises 6%

• Nifty gains 20 points, briefly hits 25,000, then retreats.
• Sensex up 40 points, near 81,500. IT sector in focus.
• Nifty must hold 25,000 to target 25,034. Support at 24,916.

Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates:The Indian markets are trading on a cautious note as of now, as the Nifty index is trading with gains of about 20 points. After hitting the 25,000 mark for a brief period, the index has now

climbed down from the mark. The Sensex index is also up with marginal gains of 40 points, trading closer to the 81,500 mark.

The Nifty did cross 25,000 intraday on Wednesday, but could not hold on to those levels, eventually closing below that mark. The participation of the Nifty Bank would give the bulls some comfort, while IT continues to remain in focus ahead of the Infosys buyback board meeting.

Sustaining above 25,000 remains the key for the Nifty, which will bring Wednesday's high of 25,034 into play. The

third day of higher highs and higher lows on the charts would mean the support now moves to Wednesday's low of 24,916.
