VIRAL: Six Minors Ride One Scooter In Bengaluru; Internet Demands Action

Forget adults or teens– it was instead six young kids, casually sitting on one scooter! A concerning picture of six young kids sitting on one scooter in Bengaluru is circulating on the internet, leaving many questioning the traffic rules and lack of punishment against traffic violations in the city. As per the post, the picture was clicked on Sunday, April 26, in the morning at around 10:45 AM. The group was spotted near the “Padarayanapura main road”. As soon as the post went viral, netizens began to react and tag the Bengaluru Police and the Bengaluru Traffic Police, asking them to take action against the matter.In India, the legal age for a person to ride a motorcycle under 50cc is 16 years, and 18 for cars and geared motorcycles. It is also

illegal for more than two people to ride a two-wheeler in India, as it is a violation of Section 128 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. The kids, as seen in the clip, had no helmets as well, which is another traffic violation in the country.The matter was quick to come under the notice of the Bengaluru Traffic Police, who then responded to the image by tagging the Magadi Road Traffic Police Station in the comments.Check out the viral post: “This happened on today 26/04/2026 morning 10:45 am those kid's illegally ridding scooter No. (KA05JZ9065) on location (Padarayanapura main road near gowripalya on opposite of total engineer auto gas) new Bridge. please take necessary. @BlrCityPolice @blrcitytraffic,” the post read. The post was shared on X (formerly Twitter) by the handle ‘Shreyas35240282’. It was shared 2 days back and pulled more than 291K views from people.
