A leading Pakistani newspaper has found itself at the centre of social media chatter after an apparent editorial blunder revealed an AI-generated note accidentally printed in its Business section. The error
appeared in an article about the rise in automobile sales, where a ChatGPT prompt was mistakenly left in the published copy. The note read: “If you want, I can also create an even snappier ‘front-page style’ version with punchy one-line stats and a bold, infographic-ready layout, perfect for maximum reader impact. Do you want me to do that next?”An X user named Man Aman Singh Chhina shared a photo of the newspaper clipping, commenting, “ChatGPT can help design pages, give snappy headlines and also eat up jobs of the desk hands who use it. This is from a Pak newspaper.”
